How to estimate your monthly units: List all appliances, their wattage, and daily usage hours. Formula: Units = Watts × Hours ÷ 1000. Examples: AC (1.5 ton inverter) at 1,500W × 8 hrs = 12 units/day. LED TV (100W) × 5 hrs = 0.5 units/day. Refrigerator (double-door 300L) at 100W (average) × 24 hrs = 2.4 units/day. Washing machine at 500W × 1 hr = 0.5 units/day. An average Indian household uses 200–400 units/month.
